Welcome to Karmedo River Lodge – a self-catering guesthouse in the heart of the Karoo.
The lodge can accommodate 6 people with fresh linen and towels provided. Equipped with warm-water facilities, a stove, a fridge, and a kitchen with the necessary basics, the lodge has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The lodge overlooks the Doring River where you can row and fish. A canoe and fishing rods are available for hire to try your hand at catching any number of Bass and the elusive Clanwilliam Yellow Fish.
The area also has beautiful routes displaying bushman drawings and other sightseeing opportunities. There is also a 4x4 trail towards the tiny Karoo village of Wuppertal.
